Description |
The first year of this two-year full-time programme is the same as the Certificate programme. The second year is a mixture of time spent in ministry apprenticeship with a local church or mission organisation and intensive, residential teaching weeks. The programme provides a bridge into full-time Christian ministry, both in the UK and abroad. |

Methods of instruction |
The course involves 14 weeks of residential teaching at Tilsley College, which involves lectures, group work, seminars and personal study. The rest of the course (22 weeks) is in a placement in a church or mission where students are involved in a variety of practical learning experiences. The year involves a personal mentoring programme as well as skills supervision and training. Students keep a personal, spiritual diary and research an academic paper as well as completing a number of other written assignments. |
